Preparation of 0.01M TBS: Add 1.2g Tris, 8.5g Nacl; 450μl of purified acetic acid or 700μl of concentrated hydrochloric acid to 1000ml H2O and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L.
Preparation of 0.01M PBS: Add 8.5g sodium chloride, 1.4g Na2HPO4 and 0.2g NaH2PO4 to 1000ml distilled water and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L. -

Protein Function: Cytokine that affects the growth, movement, or activation state of cells that participate in immune and inflammatory response. Chemotactic for activated T-cells. Binds to CXCR3.
Background: Chemokine(C-X-C motif) ligand 9(CXCL9) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also known as Monokine induced by gamma interferon(MIG). CXCL9 is a T-cell chemoattractant, which is induced by IFN-gamma. It is closely related to two other CXC chemokines called CXCL10 and CXCL11, whose genes are located near the gene for CXCL9 on human chromosome 4.1, 2 CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 all elicit their chemotactic functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CXCR3.3 The standard product used in this kit is recombinant human CXCL9, consisting of 103 amino acids with the molecular mass of 11.7KDa.
